OKA Gathering 2026

OKA has selected three YangJu Archive members to participate in the 2026 Overseas Adoption Gathering from May 18 to 22, 2026.

Every year, the OKA organizes an annually gathering, especially for Korean Adoptees from around the world. Three categories are admitted:

▪ Current representative or executive of an organization founded and operated by overseas Korean adoptees.

▪ Adopted Koreans who have never returned to the motherland, before.

▪ Professionals with expertise in adoption, identity, psychological counseling, leadership, or organizational management who are able to conduct lectures or workshops.

We are happy to announce that OKA has granted three of our members to participate. Lene Wul, Malene Rauhe and Milan Wamsteker will represent the YangJu Adoptee Archive & Community at the conference.

The conference will focus on sharing best-practices, leadership, networking and dialogue. In addition, special attention for the cultural, business and social aspects of Korea. 

Our objective is to gain more knowledge and generate ideas how to expand our YangJu Archive Project.
